It’s been a long time since I wrote here last. I was so busy the last couple of months with various projects—sometimes it felt like being buried under too many lines of code.
Well, I finally decided to “re-design” my site. I don’t really think of it as a re-design since I do not think the old version had a design. I wanted this site to be nice-looking like other beautiful websites I see around and I am finally happy with the result (for now). I hope Jon won’t mind me “borrowing” the red thing in the upper right corner :)
I’ve been working very hard on the official version of AppleStore Israel. It looks and feels the same as the global AppleStore, except it is in Hebrew (naturally). The store is a LAMP application (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP-Perl-Python) and as much as I had fun programming it – I had even more fun copycat-ing its design from Apple’s global site.
In the near future I hope to complete the following:
People also are asking me to make some tweaks to Safarish—my Firefox theme for OSX that gives Firefox the brushed-metal look. I hope to release the next version soon.
I encourage you to leave a message and tell me what you think of the new design. I’d love to hear from you…
