Google announced today that in order to celebrate their one-year birthday, they are giving everyone 1 more gigabyte. That means 2GB of Gmail!!!

It seems their beta phase is close to its end and soon everyone can have a Gmail account. I still have many Gmail invites left. Would you like a Gmail invite now?
Here’s why I love Gmail so much:
my email address acts as a forwarder to my Gmail account. I check my Gmail account using Mac OS-X’s Mail.app using POP3 service. Now I enjoy the Gmail excellent SPAM filter in my email client as well as the coolest webmail on the net.
I do not like GMail because it does not have the simple feature of folders. It is therefore difficult to organize mails in a meaningful manner. Google should take note of this.
