I finally got around to upgrade my TXP-powered site to version 4.0.2. Let me tell you, Textpattern just keeps getting better and better.
It took some hours to upgrade, since I ran a pretty hacked version of TXP 1.0_RC1 (wow, that’s old).
For instance, I had to re-introduce to TXP my gravatar tag:
<txp:comment_gravatar />This is custom tag I hacked into the previous version in order to display the commenter’s gravatar next to his/her comment.
Fortunately, no changes were required in my TrackBack plugin. That reminds me: grab your copy of my Textpattern TrackBack Plugin (currently receives TrackBacks only).
So… What new features I like best?
All in all – I am pleased with TXP 4.x!
How about you? Have you upgraded yet or thinking of upgrading? Let me know…
