6 January 2006, 09:25 Men Are From Google, Women Are From Yahoo!

yahoo and google

A recent report examined the different ways men and women use the Internet.

Apparently (duh!), on the Internet, as in life, men and women have different motivations for doing what they do. According to this recent report from Pew Internet and American Life, women view the Internet as a place to extend, support, and nurture relationships and communities. Men tend to see it as an office, a library, or a playground—screw the community, this is about function not family.

Interesting…

From watching men and women on the internet i absolutely agree. For men it is a kind of playground, women tend to use the playground for socialising. Pretty interesting.

Yes, I agree. Women like communication and Men like contents to be able to make quick decisions. However, nowadays Google sucks because many times the results are not relevant to what we are searching. It is all because Google gives importance to the Page Rank and ranks irrelevant sites at the top just because they have high PR.
