I (finally) downloaded the BETA version of Adobe Photoshop CS3 . I’ve been expecting this one ever since I bought my MacBook last month.
I haven’t had much time to play around with it, but I did notice it is a LOT faster than CS2 was on my iMac G5. In general, CS2 was the worst Photoshop version I’ve ever used (performance-wise, not feature-wise). It was so slow and “heavy” – I switched back to CS1.
CS3 iis, of course, a little buggy – but that id expected from any BETA version.
Many people also rants about the new icon, but I like it! I’m sure Adobe will change the icon by the time CS3 officially launches, anyway.
Happy holidays!
