While back, I started developing BLOGish—a PHP based blogware. Having developing it in my spear time, the development process is somewhat slow.
BLOGish is going to be really cool (in my opinion). It combines the elegance of Textpattern, with the power of XML/XSL. I was inspired by Garrett Murray’s article—a recommended reading—and started working on my blogware (if there is such a word).
Since I have noticed it takes me a long time to develop it (I’m kinda busy), I decided to convert the whole thing to PHP 5.0 with support for SQLite and MySQL (I figure that enough web hosts will offer PHP 5.0 by then).
BLOGish is going to be standards compliant with total separation of logic / content / layout / design.
If you have any ideas for features you think BLOGish should offer, please let me know. I would love to hear what people really want. Think of it as your own build-to-order blogware.
BLOGish will be available for FREE and will be released under GPL.
