The State of IMFrom the desk of: Ran Aroussi Date: 23 March, 2011 Hi there, My name is Ran Aroussi and I've been an Internet Marketer and entrepreneur since 1999. I often get asked by people what's the best way to make a living selling stuff online. Usually, my answer is long and includes some of the following questions: 1. What is your passion? 2. Are you currently making money online? 3. Are you a product owner? 4. How much can you invest in your business? 5. How many hours a day are you willing to work? ...etc. In short... making a living online is HARD WORK! Just imagine how great life would be if all you had to do is buy a $37 "push-button" software that automatically sends a flood of visitors to your website, 24/7. Well, according to more and more Clickbank vendors this dream is now a reality. What a LOAD OF CRAP! I don't like where this industry is going. Not one bit. These 20-something year-old PUNKS, that only care about their new car, "bling" and next launch, are KILLING this industry. Take this recent product launch for example: "Stripped Down Profits" The site is currently "sold out" - which is a nice way of saying "clickbank shut down our account". The storyline is something like this: 1. My name is "Haley" 2. I used to work as a stripper in Vegas 3. I had a one-nighter with a married genius 4. I blackmailed him to share his "secrets" with me 5. I now make a gaggilion dollars automatically EVERYTHING about this site is a lie ...and even if it wasn't - would you buy something from a someone who just admitted (and brags of) being a criminal?! Jeez! This makes me so angry I swear I would punch this "Haley" in the face if I ever cross paths with her. [ ----- BREAK ----- ] Check out this thread on the Warrior Forum: ==> http://bit.ly/dVe7pd If you want to visit the "sold out" page, go here: ==> http://strippeddownprofits.com Here's the old "hidden" sales page: ==> http://strippeddownprofits.com/index2.html (thanks to Dennis Rosenberg) [ ----- /BREAK ----- ] The sad thing is that this is NOT an unusual case. Obviously, some of these 20 yr-old "kids" have solid products, but most of them are flat out LIERS! Good people in the IM scene - that use honesty in their marketing are seeing a slight drop in sales, while others are making money by scamming people. This can't end well. I guess there's not a lot we can do at the moment other than calling these scammers out when you spot them. Post warning on your blog, facebook wall... whatever. Just try to save people from the heartache of buying these products and lose time, money, and confidence in this industry and themselves. Also, forward this page to anyone you think can benefit from it, and let Karma do it's magic. I wish you only the best. Talk soon, Ran Aroussi--- Got Facebook?
